Interesting facts:
Chuck Berry was a pioneer of early rock and roll throughout the 1950's and has even been accredited. In 1986, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He grew up in an impoverish environment and stole to try to put food on his family's table. He attended a reform school for attempted robbery. After he was released, he worked on the assembly line at a General Motors Fisher body plant and studied hairdressing and cosmetology at night school. In 1952 he joined a small band as the guitarist singer and they quickly became popular around the St. Louis area. By 1958, Berry had a string of hits including "School Day", "Rock & Roll Music", "Sweet Little Sixteen", and "Johnny B. Goode."
